Absolute Motion Coaching

Our vision - To make a positive impact in the lives of those we journey with in their quest to become more skilled cyclists, healthier people or the sports men and women they are destined to be.

Coaching is a journey build on trust and continuous communication. The quality of our coaching guidance is very much determined by the feedback we receive and we encourage open communication. The actual program is a small portion of what makes one a better cyclist. Nutrition and mental health plays as big a role and through communication, our trust relationship with our clients grow for us to play a meaningful role in their lives on a wider scale.

Absolute Motion has been coaching some of the best cyclist in South Africa since 2000. Stars such as James Reid, Alan Hatherly and Candice Neethling have been part of our coaching family while stars like Bianca Haw, Frankie du Toit, Josh Francis, Kim le Court and many more continue to be.

Absolute Motion is a UCI Accredited Coaching business and uses sophisticated software and technology to maximize efficiency and training safety.

Absolute Motion offers a number of training and coaching options from which you could choose:

Fitness Level Coaching

As-and-when: R90 per session
Pre-paid for 2 sessions/week R660 per month

This level of coaching is only available to people who have access to our Wahoo equipped training studios in Hilton and/or Somerset West.

It includes your own Training Peaks Profile, Basic Level.

Does not include a training plan or analysis.

Club Level Coaching
Elite Level Coaching
Pro Level Coaching
Event/Race specific training

How do you start?

  1. Send us an email with your enquiry to life@absolutemotion.co.za
  2. We will discuss the best coaching level for you
  3. You would complete an athlete questionnaire and indemnity form that will be emailed to you.
  4. We will devise a rough race plan for the next period that will be refined going forward.
  5. Do an 8 or 20 min FTP (Functional Threshold Power) Test to determine your training zones and the journey starts.


Our coaching clients are eligible for many additional benefits such as club membership, discounts on various products, etc.
